The Preparation of PbS Thermoelectric Materials with Low ThermalConductivity by Hydrothermal Method |

Abstract:Nanostructure or phonon engineering is the effective way to improve the performance of PbS thermoelectric material through
reducing thermal conductivity. Pb1?xBixS nanometer thermoelectric materials were prepared by hydrothermal method and the thermal
conductivities of the samples were tested. The results showed that the thermal conductivity of pristine PbS was 10% lower than that of
PbS from references. The thermal conductivity of Pb0.9Bi0.1S is reduced by 33% relative to that of pure PbS due to the increased crystal
defect with increasing Bi doped. |
